This is a two-day festival starting on April 18, 2008 that features other great bands and performers like Emmitt Nershi Band with Drew Emmitt (Leftover Salmon) and Bill Nershi (String Cheese Incident), Bobby Lee Rodgers & The Codetalkers, Davisson Bros. Hello Fellow Squids and Welcome
It did a good job for more than a year, but it was finally time to put the old web page to rest.
After almost two years of service to the band, the old single page web site has been retired. While it certainly performed the job it was required to do we had simply started to grow beyond a single page web site. So our multi-talented guitarist and resident designer, Billee Dodson, decided to begin work on a more full-scale design. After what seemed to be eons we finally have something new to show off.
The new site, while certainly not the visual feast of eye-popping design goodness as was intended, is a good start. With a solid framework in-place now we can actually take some time to come up with a more eye-catching design over the next few months. Hopefully by the time that the Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash comes around in August we will have decided on a more sweet-looking design. Until then this is certainly a step in the right direction.
The new site has something more to offer than just a bunch of new pages. Our new site now has an online EPK where interested folks can find all the information that they need for booking inquiries. The EPK page also includes downloadable versions of the full EPK in both ZIP and TAR formats and each file contains the music samples, press photos, bio, and documents needed to consider booking Vishuddha. Take that, SonicBids!
